During the flight, we discover a very nice traditional system of fishery, with these strange nets with houses on top and small boats attached. At this time already, the visibility was not so good. But later it became worse, and after 2 hours of flight, the visibility is so poor, with mist turning into fog and low stratus, that we have to divert to Phuket in Thailand.
Then the trickiest part started : we had to explain to the thai authorities (that don't speak english and don't know general aviation and thus don't understand that we are very dependent to weather), the reason fo our landing even though we did not get prior permission ...
They even told us that we violated the thai law and have to depart right now, even with this bad weather !

En vol, nous découvrons ce joli système de pêche : avec des filets posés sur l'eau, surplombés par des maisons et parfois attachés à des pirogues. La visibilité était déjà mauvaise à cet instant, puis elle s'est aggravée avec stratus bas et brouillard, nous obligeant à nous poser en Thaïlande, à Phuket.
Il s'agit maintenant d'expliquer que tout d'abord non, nous n'avons pas violé la loi thaïlandaise en déroutant pour cause de mauvaise météo, et qu'encore une fois non, dérouter ne veut pas dire qu'on est un mauvais pilote...
